With the extra cash...

Merry Xmas and Happy Hanukkah, and with all the cash I got from the parentals I will be purchasing a pair of these. Yes I know they are for men but I don't care.

or these...

carrot or chino pants, whatever they are called. I will own a pair. These will go nicely with a new pair of fur trimmed boots. Which are everywhere here in the UK.

And for my dresser days or nights, I am in need of these Acne platform ankle boots. Love.

Metal grey or white. Either will do. Birthday presents anyone?

Some photos of hair and fashion on our trip to York.

The brown leather jacket with a fur vest was something I saw a lot of walking around. The tinted white blonde hair was also popular. Bright pinks and fluorescent hair colours were everywhere.

flourescent floral print bag I love at Topshop.

Over here many of the girls are donning asymmetrical hairstyles, mostly in the form of asymmetrical pixie cuts or a-line bobs. Overall it was short and funky everywhere you looked.

Once again the fur jackets are everywhere. I loved this girls plaid dress trousers with her loafers and fur jacket. Get me a fur coat now.
And finally just some guys we found hanging out in a courtyard. They found our American accents funny so we decided to snap a shot of them.

The fun and colourful fashion choices of almost everyone we saw stands in stark contrast to the cold English weather, and the gothic architecture of the York Minster that lies in the background. This cathedral, which was built in 1338, sits in the middle of the Shambles, the shopping area in downtown York. The British just leisurely shop around many feats of the past such as this centuries old Minster.

Finds for the Rain

I found this and thought it was hilarious. My favorite food on an umbrella. French fries and ketchup for all the foodies who still need to be shielded from the English rain.
And for the more English tastes. Brussel Sprouts.

York, UK

So here we are in Jolly Old. I have been inspired by everything and everyone here, from the people to the architecture. The fun, crazy, and fearless fashion choices of the men and women of York are exciting and new. So here are some of my favorites.
